Model Agreement

Lumina 2026 is a celebration of queer fashion, culture, beauty, art, and creative expression, bringing together designers, performers, artists, and community members from across Canada.

The Model agrees to:

• ·Participate in runway presentations, fittings, rehearsals, and promotional activities as scheduled
• ·Arrive on time for call times, fittings, hair, makeup, and wardrobe preparation
• ·Maintain professional conduct toward organizers, designers, staff, and fellow participants
• ·Follow wardrobe, styling, and backstage instructions provided by designers and production staff
• ·Notify the Organizer promptly of any conflicts or issues affecting participation

The Model agrees to attend all required fittings, rehearsals, and production meetings unless otherwise approved by the Organizer.

Failure to attend mandatory rehearsals without notice may result in removal from the event lineup.

Participation in Lumina 2026 is: Volunteer / Unpaid.

Wardrobe, accessories, hair, and makeup may be provided by:

• ·Fashion Designers
• ·Styling Team
• ·Hair & Makeup Artists
• ·Organizer-approved partners

The Model agrees to handle all garments and accessories with care and return all borrowed items in original condition. The Model may be financially responsible for intentional damage, loss, or theft of borrowed items.

The Model grants Queer Hive Magazine permission to photograph, film, and record their participation during:

• ·Runway shows
• ·Backstage preparation
• ·Promotional shoots
• ·Interviews and event coverage

These materials may be used for:

• ·Social media
• ·Marketing and advertising
• ·Editorial publication
• ·Press and media coverage
• ·Future event promotion

The Model waives rights to additional compensation for approved promotional usage unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The Model agrees to disclose any accessibility or mobility accommodations needed for safe participation.

The Organizer will make reasonable efforts to provide a safe and inclusive environment.

The Model participates voluntarily and assumes reasonable risks associated with live event participation.

Lumina 2026 is committed to creating a respectful, inclusive, and welcoming environment.

Harassment, discrimination, bullying, hate speech, intimidation, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. Violation may result in immediate removal from the event.

If the Model can no longer participate, they agree to notify the Organizer as soon as possible.

The Organizer reserves the right to replace or remove a model due to scheduling conflicts, misconduct, failure to attend required rehearsals, or other production needs.

The Model agrees that Queer Hive Magazine, event sponsors, venue partners, and staff shall not be liable for:

• ·Personal injury (except where caused by gross negligence)
• ·Lost or stolen personal belongings
• ·Damages resulting from participation in the event

Participation is at the Model's own risk.

By signing below, both parties acknowledge they have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Agreement.
